- Christofuturism is a concept by Gary Sheng. He introduced it publicly in 2025 as a way to hold faith and technology together, and it is stewarded today through the Christofuturist Society.
- What does Christofuturism believe about AI?
- Christofuturism treats AI as a powerful tool, not a god. AI is another technology we create, like a knife, a tractor, or a crane: powerful, yes, but not divine. The error of the age is putting AI on a pedestal and worshiping the created instead of the Creator. The right question is never whether we will use these tools, but whether we will use them to build heaven on earth or a new tower of Babel.

- No. Christofuturism is not about rejecting technology; it is about putting it in proper order. Followers of Christ can be among the most technologically advanced and wise people on Earth. Christofuturists ask of any tool: how can this serve our mission to spread the Good News and help people flourish?
- What is the divine order in Christofuturism?
- The divine order is the three-tier relationship at the heart of Christofuturism: God reigns supreme, humans serve God, and AI serves humans. Keeping this order is what keeps technology a blessing rather than an idol. Reversing it, by letting our tools take the place of God, is the fundamental error Christofuturism warns against.
- How is Christofuturism different from transhumanism or the singularity?
- Transhumanism and singularity thinking seek to replace the Creator with the created, chasing a future where humanity engineers its own godhood. Christofuturism rejects that. It says we are made in God’s image and are the creators, not our tools. The future belongs to those who build with God, not those who build to become Him.

- The North Star Cross is the mark of Christofuturism: a four-point star whose bottom point is longer than the other three, so the star also reads as a cross. It signifies Christ as the fixed point to navigate by in a fast-changing technological age.
